The staff was friendly and the pool area was clean, making it a great spot for our group. I’d recommend this place for its fun atmosphere and convenient location near attractions.
The only downside was the uneven steps leading to the lobby, which made it a bit tricky to navigate with our luggage.

We had a fantastic trip with friends, enjoying our stay. The kids loved the large pool, and we visited the Great Lakes Aquarium and the Lake Superior Zoo, both a hit with the group! Just a heads up, the hotel could be a little noisy at times, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
One downside was the musty smell on our floor. it was pretty off-putting when we first arrived.

Comfortable Stay with Friendly Staff
We enjoyed a comfortable stay with a nice selection of breakfast items to start our day, although a greater variety, especially in fruits, would be welcome. The staff was always helpful and accommodating, making our experience even better. However, some areas of the hotel could use better lighting and maintenance to enhance the atmosphere.

Had a great time with my friends! We explored the Great Lakes Aquarium and enjoyed some fun in the game room at the hotel. The room was clean, and the staff was super accommodating. Breakfast each morning was solid, and the overall vibe was chill, perfect for our group getaway.
We had a little trouble with noise from a hockey group staying there. It was frustrating since they were all over the place instead of being grouped together. Staff didn’t do much to handle the noise, which made our nights less relaxing.

great central spot for busy park and recreation fun
I had a pleasant stay while enjoying the friendly service at the front desk, and the hotel pools were inviting enough to spend time in, even if it felt a little chilly. Considering its proximity to fun areas like Spirit Mountain Recreation Area, just 1.5 km away, this place is a solid choice for a weekend in Duluth.

The check-in staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing us to drop our bags before our room was ready. The room was decent but needed some updates, and it was disappointing that the sauna wasn't operational. Overall, a solid choice for a budget stay with a bit of charm.

We had a lovely family getaway at this hotel! The kids enjoyed the game room, and being nearby the lake Superior Zoo was a highlight for us. The beds were cozy, and breakfast had great options to keep everyone happy, especially since we traveled with a baby.
In my wife’s opinion, the pool hours could be longer for families. It would have been nice to have a bit more flexibility to enjoy that with our little one.
